Montera JH42 Table Lamp

A fusion of heritage and contemporary design, international artist and designer Jaime Hayon unveils the Montera JH42 Table Lamp, seamlessly blending the past and present.

Inspired by the moment Hayon discovered a handful of old Spanish post cards, Montera pays homage to the heritage of Spain. Both Montera’s name and silhouette derive from the bullfighting hat of the iconic Matador, showcasing an integration of cultural significance into modern design.

Hayon’s signature use of colour shines through, with two captivating variants: Forest & Sky, and Amber & Ruby. These combinations add a pop of colour to tables, bookshelves or windowsills, while capturing the spirit of Hayon’s playful design philosophy and desire to bring joy to people’s lives.

Each piece is thoughtfully crafted with an aluminium base and shade, a black textile cord, and a polished brass dimmer with a clear lacquer finish, enabling users to adjust the light intensity according to their mood.
